OASIS Leaders Walk The Talk
OASIS National and Regional Board members (75+) and their families (300+) pledged and adopted practices to reduce waste by using reusable cups, utensils, bags, planting vegetables and other various methods in their daily lives.
April-May 2020
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, OASIS Texas Board Member Ritu Agrawal sewed 100+ face masks and donated to local DFW health works and hospitals

Bring Your Child to Work day– OASIS held Sustainability Themed STEM workshops.
Assembled and distributed AT&T upcycled zip wallets to BMO Bring Your Child to Work Day participants.
The wallets are made from banners and turf previously used at AT&T sponsored golf events.
Over 110 children attended the event with their families

OASIS SE Region partnered with a local small business which is a local meal delivery service and convinced them to use only glass containers vs plastic containers which will save 100 plastic containers being used every week.
This equals 5200 plastic containers saved from the landfill.
2019-2020
Give external access to Book Summaries and Reviews to promote sustainability – this allows members to share these resources with their friends and family.
Publish articles on different topics to engage members and educate them about the WHY and HOW of Sustainability
